Stoughton Thunder perfect after 2 games!

The Stoughton Thunder finished the weekend with 2 wins. The Thunder took on the Saw Blades in a heavy fashion. Stoughton beat Eau Claire 9-3 Friday night. The Thunder then went home to start the season at home. The Thunder fans were hopping at the Mandt Center Saturday night against the Mid Wisconsin Saints. The Thunder took a commanding lead when the Saints gave up two big goals due to their defensive mistakes early. Stoughton made them pay with 6 goals in the 1st period Saturday. The Saints fought through the grunge to refocus themselves to score 3 goals in the 2nd period to keep the game interesting. The Thunder beat the Saints 13-4.The Stoughton Fans were great. They were really great stated a Stoughton Thunder fan, and they were right!

The Stoughton Thunder and the WJHL would like to thank all of the fans for all of their support.
